Tools and Hardware Reviews of Whirlpool 4396510 KitchenAid Quarter Turn Cyst-Reducing Side-by-Side Refrigerator Water Filter, 1-PackCustomer Review: Great value Summary: 5 Stars
We've always been satisfied with the Whirlpool-brand water filters on our 4-year old refrigerator, but until now we always had to pay $10-$15 more for each one at a big home improvement store.
Very pleased with the price and prompt, free shipping, and it fit perfectly. Check the compatibility list on the product description before ordering. Now that we know it works, we'll probably get the 2-pack.
Customer Review: OEM Water Filter Summary: 5 Stars
Apparently this is the improved replacement that doesn't require a lot of flushing before use. It is a Whirlpool branded filter and the price at the time of my purchase was better than most places. Other than that all I can say is it was very easy to install and appears to work well. I ran a few cup of water through it to flush out the air pocket from installation and didn't notice any filter particles.
Customer Review: great filter, great price! Summary: 5 Stars
i never realized that cysts are not filtered out with some less expensive filters! do some homework and find out what cysts are. believe me you will want a cyst filter. this one was the best price and me, being a female, i was able without assistance from a man to twist the old one out and put a new one in. you don't have to go to sears or best buy and spend fifty dollars. finally!
Customer Review: High end Frig filter Summary: 5 Stars
This is the same filter that you will find in the home improvement stores for 40 to 45 dollars. It is the one that filters out harmful chemicals as well as some common metals. I have purchased two of then so far and will buy many more as long as they are the same high quality filters. I have been totally satisfied with these filters.
Customer Review: Clean filtered refreshing water Summary: 5 Stars
This OEM product fits and functions properly in Whirlpool side by side fridges with the quarter turn filter located on the bottom panel just below the freezer. It is super easy to install and after a quick flush / running water through to prep the new filter works great and lasts about six months. Water tastes great!
