This was the first time I needed to replace the filter on my refrigerator water supply and I saw how spendy the filters were at the dealer. After shopping around I found this was the most reasonable pricing anywhere. I received the filters, as I ordered 3 each, in reasonable time as well. These are the correct filters, not knock-off (same type) per manufacturer and I am HAPPY with my purchase!!! So far I have replaced this filter 3 times since owning my Whirlpool refer...due to use, NOT defects. I have no complaints. As far as PRO's. It works like it's suppose to. Easy to install. Just make sure you follow the instructions and watch out when you first use the drinking system after replacing the filter. The lines have to fill up again and it doesn't always shut off when you pull the glass away. After the first time...works perfect!Customer Review: Cheaper to buy through Amazon.com

We bought our Whirlpool refrigerator last year & have changed out the cartridges every 6 months without fail as the indicator in our fridge changes color. These cartridges are generally pricey in department stores (Sears, Best Buy, etc...), however it is a bit cheaper on Amazon, plus free shipping that was reasonably within 7 days. I have a new Whirlpool fridge that came with this filter. When the time came to replace the filter, I looked for the same product because it allows a large volume to be filtered at one time. Guests at my house have commented on how rapidly the water comes out and it is great for filling the coffee pot and pasta pot within seconds instead of minutes. Ordered the item thru Amazon. Cheapest when I placed my order.
Took 11 days before it ends into my mailbox (USPS). Would have expected a faster delivery.
Fortunately, it is a filter... Not a survival kit.
Other than that, replacing the filter is takes 20 seconds.
Don't forget to poor 3 galons of water that you will throw away prior to start drinking the water.
