I recently bought a plain old "Whirlpool White" front loading washer and dryer. I was expecting them to be delivered and installed, but I knew I would have to provide a stacking kit for the installation. I had no idea which kit to get. This kit says it is for the "Whirlpool Duet Sport" and the "Maytag Epic Z" washers and dryers. So I am sure you can understand why I was worried it wouldn't work for my particular washer and dryer. Long story short, it worked perfectly! Easy peasy lemon squeezy! The delivery men had the washer and dryer stacked in no time. And it has held together great.
I guess with something like this, it either works or it doesn't. It does, and I was happy it worked with my washer and dryer.
