The people that complain this product doesn't work, aren't following the directions. You are supposed to use one tablet EVERY single month. Not wait 2 years until your washer is beyond hope. We purchased our front load washer 25 days ago and run at least one load a day. I just used our first tablet because I was noticing a smell from the machine. The tablet worked great because the smell is gone. I will continue to use this product once a month to keep the washer smelling fresh.Customer Review: Love These Tablets

I had my front loaders for about 5 years before I found these wonderful tablets. The first time I used them, I followed the Internet suggestion of running 3 seperate cycles (1 tablet per cycle) and using all three tablets right away; I was amazed at how well they worked. Now I use one tablet every couple of months to keep my machine fresh.
I also bought extras and sent them to my mom and my brother to try them in their front loaders too =)

I've had an LG Tromm washer for 2 years and it progressively smelled worse and worse.
It had just about reached the point of me buying a new washer until I used the Affresh. I followed the directions, 3 cleaning cycles in a row with the Affresh and now my clothes smell clean after I wash them. It makes my $1400 washer not seem like such a bad investment anymore. This product is a must for any owner of a Tromm front-loader.

Affresh really works. Although my front-load Maytag washer did not have a smell, I just thought it needed some sort of cleaning after all the heavy usage we give it. I used to clean my old top-load Kenmore by periodically running a hot wash with a small amount of detergent (and no clothing), and that seemed to keep it fresh. Having a Maytag Bravos washing machine that calls for Affresh and even has a "Clean Cycle" that also has the Affresh logo, I thought it best to use this product for the cleaning process on my washer. I felt that it did a very thorough job when I used it and would recommend highly to other consumers. It is my understanding that it can be used in any machine.
