I recently moved into an apartment with limited closet space, so I needed to get creative to find ways to store my sizable wardrobe. I did thorough research on several websites trying to find a good garment rack. This one was one of the best values I saw, and it gets free shipping!
You need two people to assemble this product, not because the assembly is complicated, but because the pieces are large. My husband and I were easily able to put it together in 15 minutes, and then wheel it into the bedroom. One of the things I like is that the position of the top and bottom shelves is adjustable.
I was able to hang all my dresses and suits on this rack -- I was amazed! Some of the items on it are quite heavy (I have several full length, beaded/ sequined evening gowns), but that didn't seem to cause any problem. About 55 garments of mine fit on this rack.
I love that it has the shelf on top of it. I used that to store my purses. I also used the shelf at the bottom for the formal shoes that go with my dresses. So far, it has held up really well! I haven't seen any signs of top-heaviness either.
The rack is a perfect balance between size and compactness. It holds everything I need it to, but it doesn't take up a huge portion of my bedroom. The shiny finish is attractive, and I love what it does for my dresses! A great buy!
