Honestly this was an interesting experience. Overall putting it together wasn't difficult, it was actually pretty simple once you got in the flow, although I did have my father present to help me put it together (who of course eventually took over), but having another person there with you putting it together really helps. At times once you were ready to put on another piece on the connectors, another one would come loose, but we got the hang of it. I really do think we put it together in thirty minutes or less.
So far it has been pretty durable. I essentially bought it to put my school books in, and a variety of other things as a way to make space in my dorm room, but I haven't actually put a lot of stuff in there. But I have put all of my books in there before and it hasn't fallen apart, so as of now it's great! If you are looking for an item to give you space in your room and is inexpensive, I'd say this is for you. Just don't get easily frustrated if the putting it together part isn't great in the beginning. You'll be satisfied with the end result.
Oh yeah, just to add I also got an extra side and two extra holders, which was interesting just in case I want to buy more. I don't know if I'll buy more at the moment for I don't think I'd need it, but having the extra pieces doesn't hurt.
