I do a lot of outdoor cooking, and I am sick to death of flimsy, overpriced, quick to wear-out grill brushes, with wires that bend and quickly clog, and work surfaces that are too small to get thye job done.
My solution ? Buy an oversize heavy duty CONCRETE BRUSH !
Advantages:
* Heavy duty and properly spaced steel bristles that flex and recoil (rather than stay bent), and do not clog with grease and debris.
* LARGE working surface.
* STRONG construction: this brush was designed for cleaning concrete, brick and stone, and can be used either one or two-handed ... and you can really put some serious muscle into it.
* CHEAP. This brush is an extraordinary value, being four times the size and sturdiness of most grilling brushes, and significantly cheaper. Talk about crossover appeal !
My only tiny nit is that I wish the handle were angled slightly upwards. Other than that, this brush is perfect for cleaning grills, no matter how dirty and rusted. The brush is practically indesructible, and cheap enough that you can buy an extra one and give it to a friend.
