Tools and Hardware Reviews of Express Sealing and Professional Caulking Kit -Pro CaulkCustomer Review: great way to fix a tub Summary: 5 Stars
I caulked my bath tub by myself. I even bought one for my boys.
Customer Review: I was more than satisfied... Summary: 4 Stars
I was happy to find this product on Amazon. Another website advertising this product was on www.ripoffreport.com with many posts saying that people ordered the product and never received it...being out $25. So I was nervous when I ordered it but was thrilled when I DID get it.
The product worked fine. The commercial does seem to make it look easier than it was but after using the product and re-watching the commerical, you can only really work about 12 in at a time and not run a 2 ft bead of caulk. The more caulk you run...the messier it is.
So order the product, go 12 - 18 in at a time and it works fine.
Customer Review: Pretty cool Summary: 4 Stars
I can't believe how nice the lines are when using this product. Caulking was always something I hated to do. I know there are other ways to make it look perfect, but I decided to try this, and I am satisfied. It's not as neat and organized as they make it sound, but I didn't expect caulking to EVER be neat. I can't wait to try it on different things now. One word of warning: the tube of "caulk" they give you is terrible. Don't use it. Otherwise, this is an invaluable tool to have.
Customer Review: pro seal Summary: 4 Stars
The pro seal tools worked very well at applying the silicone to my shower unit. Very clean and fast application. The biggest asset to this kit is the grout/silicone remover tool. It cleaned the old silicone off right down to the shower wall with little effort! I only gave 4 stars due to the silicone they sent was hard as a rock and I had to purchase a new tube.
Customer Review: pricey but works Summary: 4 Stars
The item is way over priced for what you get. The silicon is a joke mine was hard as a rock. But I must say it does get the job done. I've tried other grout smoothing tools and for its simplicity this does work. They should drop the silicon and include a small plastic box to store the pieces in when not using.
