Tools and Hardware Reviews of Yard Butler RP-3 24-Inch Roto PlanterCustomer Review: Works well.... Summary: 5 Stars
Bought this to use for garden activities. Drills through clay-based soil with ease here in Louisiana. If digging holes in heavy clay soil, be sensitive to any resistance or your drill will try and torque your wrist off. Once a feel for the Yard Butler is developed, it works very well. In fact, in addition to regular gardening activities, this was used to dig two holes for mailbox posts (about 30 inches deep) saving considerable time and effort. Works well with 18-volt Dewalt.
Customer Review: Wonderful Summary: 5 Stars
Just used the roto planter last week. We had around 50-60 plants to put in.
My husband walked ahead of me, using the roto planter and I followed. What a joy!! It took just a couple of minutes for each one. Also, I had empty pots from last season and we used the planter to loosen up the soil in each one.
Just like new!! It was a really big help in planting. Sure wished I had known about this product years before!
Customer Review: Great Tool Summary: 5 Stars
I have arthritis in my hands and wrists making it impossible to dig holes for planting. When I saw this I had to have it. It make transplanting anything easy for me. It is also great for digging fertilizer into soil around established plants. I bought a larger size also. My portable drill might grip the upper shaft better if the shaft was not perfectly round.
Customer Review: Roto Planter Summary: 5 Stars
This bulb planter is the best thing since sliced bread..cut my planting time by hours. It worked well beyond my expectations. Recommend anyone who needs to plant hundreds of bulbs like I did...this is a "necessity" item.
Customer Review: Very pleased Summary: 5 Stars
Made planting 800 bulbs (crocus, tulip and daffodil) a breeze! Easy to use, not too heavy to handle, exactly what I needed. The days of planting bulbs using a shovel and/or trowel are over!
