Tools and Hardware Reviews of Youngstown Glove 03-3450-80-L Waterproof Winter Plus Performance Glove, Large, BlackCustomer Review: worth the protection Summary: 5 Stars
I have been using this glove for three years now for light duty or general work. I didn't expect the gloves to perform, but it held up to mechanical work on a tank and uparmored vehicles. The glove is still windproof and holds up well to rainy conditions. I made this my tactical winter glove because it was easier to use on my gear. For winter work gloves, these are the way to go because I've used mechanix, craftsman, ergodyne, and ironclad gloves all of which are fine too.
Fit
I'm wearing an XL for my large hands, I wish the wrist cuff is longer to prevent heat loss. The downside of this glove is that it will not work if your hands are moist because the inner liner will be pulled out. Like I said, it's a general working glove, it should not be exposed to oil, the glove works in wet conditions. It has a useful soft terry cloth on the thumb to wipe my sweat. And it fits my large hands just fine.
Protection
Minimum protection, the top side of the glove has a soft corduroy fabric. The gloves works well for cold windy conditions, but if the climate drops more than -20 degs, it looses its effectiveness.
Weather resistance
mine has held up well to rain and snow, haven't lost any fingers to frostbite so that's good.
Recommended cold weather uses
construction, tactical operations, house work, commuting, machine operation, nice gloves for house mover's.
Do not expose these gloves to oils.
Customer Review: Great gloves! Summary: 5 Stars
These gloves fit very well in your hands (IF you properly follow the measurement instructions to select your correct size). Thus far they have been excellent against the cold weather, keeping my hands warm. The construction is of very good quality material and seems like they will last many years. They are completely black (with the exception of the Velcro tab on the wrist that has yellow), with different areas of the palm patched with a stronger material for durability, and the thumb area has terry cloth material to clean the sweat from your face. Very good gloves for the price. Recommended!
Customer Review: EXTREMELY WELL MADE AND AFFORDABLE GLOVES!! Summary: 5 Stars
This glove is made rugged and very durable. For a winter glove it keeps your hands toasty even in the coldest Pennsylvania winters. I have owned many other brands including some of the more expensive military work gloves, with varied and limited satisfaction, however the Youngstown Winter Plus glove, has for it's affordable price and quality far surpassed my expectations! I LOVE THESE GLOVES!! Most the guys in my troop have these gloves and are very pleased with the performance, wear and durability. An A+++ in my book!

Customer Review: Live in the upper midwest - great gloves for snow blowing! Summary: 5 Stars
After going through 2-3 pairs of gloves that claimed to be waterproof and then would fall apart halfway through the winter season, I decided to do some more extended shopping around. These gloves are not only waterproof, but they offer flexibility in your fingers and hands --- excellent work gloves. They are used for snow blowing and get worn for 5-6 hours straight at a time, still waterpoof and quite warm, even with windchills of -20 degrees. I have been very happy with this purchase.
Customer Review: Great Gloves Summary: 5 Stars
I brought these gloves based on the waterproof listing; the gloves are well made and have done a good job on keeping my hands warms; I haven't had a chance to test the waterproof feature; I like the double stitching and the grip; I also like the fact they are not bulky; so far, so good
