Tools and Hardware Reviews of Youngstown Glove 03-3450-80-L Waterproof Winter Plus Performance Glove, Large, BlackCustomer Review: what you are getting Summary: 4 Stars
Overall nice glove. They are waterproof, but as another reviewer stated, the layer that repels water is just before it gets to your hand. The top insulation keeps the water in and gets very heavy. These gloves are warm only if you are active, they are not meant for you to be standing around in the cold. I worked one day with the old man splitting wood and they performed well, your hand may sweat - as long as you don't stop for too long they will keep you warm. I think they should hold up to some abuse. In summary, after rambling a bit - know what you are getting - a work/outdoor glove for active people.
Customer Review: Good gloves, but a design flaw... Summary: 4 Stars
These are nice waterproof work gloves -- not super-warm and insulated like a normal pair of winter gloves, but certainly good enough to keep your hands comfortable in the cold or rain. One problem, though: the inner fleece liner is sewn in to the glove only at the wrist. I inadvertently pulled the liner fingers out of the glove fingers in one glove, and it's a chronic problem to get it to fit properly now. Otherwise solid, they seem very durable after I've put them through many hours of rainy trailwork.
Customer Review: keeping your hands warm and dry Summary: 4 Stars
I am pleased with these gloves. I was looking for something to snowblow with. Something that would keep my hands warm and dry. While they are warm, I was hoping for alittle bit warmer. Work well as long as it's not freezing out. They definetly are waterphoof.
My hands never felt wet. The fit is nice. They are not bulkie which help in moving your fingers during the running of the machine.
I would recomend.
Customer Review: Waterresistant, not waterproof Summary: 4 Stars
I got these both for work and for my 15 minutes scooter ride in. They are great work gloves for spring and fall, but if you are riding in the rain, your hands will get wet). After about 20 minutes in the 0 degree walkin, my fingers were burning with cold. I know I put them to extremes and I still think they are great work gloves, just not for northern winters
Customer Review: Nice work gloves Summary: 4 Stars
These work very good! I am working on steel power towers. The fingers are shaped so you can grab and feel whats in my tool pouch, and they are really warm so far.. It hasent been below 30 yet but so far so good. I will no doubt buy another pair after these give out.
