Description of Ebony Palm Smooth Plane
This smooth plane is made from a single piece of Macassar Ebony with very nice grain pattern.The plane iron is Special Tool Steel. It is 44 mm wide and 3 mm thick.
The iron has not been honed, you need to complete the sharpening process with you own prefered technique before first use. A high quality honing jig is recommanded. Do it slowly and enjoy.
