The Zibra Open It! features offset cutting jaws that provide maximum leverage to cut through tough packages quickly and easily. The offset design also serves to keep your hands a safe distance from sharp, ragged edges when you are opening sonic-sealed plastic clamshells. This means you won't cut yourself while opening up new toys or gadgets.
The jaws are crafted from hardened steel, so they can also serve as wire snips. This means that you can safely and effectively cut away the wire twist ties and stubborn plastic zip ties that some manufacturers use in packaging their products. Customer Review: Unwrap in a Quarter of the Time!!

This is my favorite tool. I keep it in a kitchen cabinet for easy access and use it at least 3 times a week. I purchased the Open It right before Christmas, and it made our present opening a much less-stressful time. The powerful blades clip right through cardboard, plastic clam-shells, and those horrible plastic wires used to keep toys in their packages.
It's such a relief to just pop any package open without having to worry about finding the just-right angle to tear or cut. And the little blade at the end of the handle is perfect for opening taped boxes. The only feature I don't use much is the screwdriver, as I don't have many screws small enough for this tiny tool to turn. But if ever I need to fix my sunglasses I will know just where to go. Every household should have this tool--I've given one to all of my relatives' households. I could not recommed this gadget more!
