When my dishwasher broke down I went looking for a nice dish rack until I could get it repaired. My existing dish rack was still good but not at all exciting. I read and re-read the reviews on this dish rack for several weeks before I took the plunge and bought it. It was fairly pricey, and I didn't know if it would be big enough.
It definitely is big enough. I especially like its ability to hold bowls and a pie plate on edge. These were hard to fit into my old dish rack. I can fit all my own dishes for a full day's worth of meals, or invite a friend or two and have room enough.
The rack doesn't take up much room - 13" from sink edge to the other end so if I don't put it away, I still can work around it. The drain board is raised 1" and is on rubber-tipped feet; it stays dry underneath. It slopes decisively toward the front and middle and water always runs off.
It's easy to clean, too. I have hard water, but so far I just have to wipe down the drainboard with a damp dish cloth and the hard water stains go away.
It's listed as unavailable right now but the Zojila web site says they will have more of this in stock in August. I'm very glad I bought this, and at this point don't really care if my dishwasher is ever fixed.

I have to say that I have own a lot of dishracks and have not really like any of them.That is until now this rack is the bomb.Even with a dishwasher I still use this rack everyday it holds a lot of dishes and pots and pans.It looks great it is heavy duty but it is elegant and you do not mind leaving it out it looks like a piece of art.The only issue that I have is that it does not drain down the center but I have e-mailed customer service and they are going to send me a new tray but even with that I still rate it a five.It is a little pricey but think of this by the time you purchase a few of the ones in the store and they do not last then you will find that this is a real good investment.I have to mention that there customer service is real good and efficent thanks Romy.Another satisfied customer Carl C. We recently purchased a new stainless steel sink and began the search for a matching dish drainer. We looked in all of the chain stores, kitchen specialty shoppes, and discount retailers. We also did a thorough search of all like products available on line. We are the kind of buyers who do exhaustive research before we buy anything and we researched this one ad nauseum.
Our needs were specific. We wanted a dish rack and drain board that were all stainless and most on the market have plastic sides or drain boards or utensil holders. We also needed one that drained on the side into the sink. This one met all of our criteria. It holds large items as well as small ones and nothing has fallen out of it and it drains beautifully. We also do not have a large kitchen and the size is perfect. It's not too large yet it holds a lot.
None of the stainless steel dish racks can compare to this one. It is a quality product, it looks good, and it is well made. We are so impressed with it, that today we ordered the matching sponge holders. We recommend this product highly.
Customer Review: Worth the bucks, who needs junk?

We aren't the sort of folks who really have seventy dollars to spend on a dish drainer. But when the last in a long line of cheapo drainers died, we decided not to throw away any more money and invest in a quailty drainer.
So far this drainer lives up to the hype. It looks FANTASTIC sitting on my counter. It looks so good, in fact, that I find myself cleaning the rest of the kitchen more often so everything looks like a magazine spread. It takes up less counter space than our old wooden folding rack since it hugs the edge of the sink and runs the length of the sink (instead of perpendicular to it). I cook a lot for our family of four and this drainer has handled everything I've thrown at it. I can fit 8 or so cups/glasses, several plates and bowls, cutting board, colander, frying pan, sauce pan, big utensils...all in one load. Granted, things are sometimes piled high, but it never looks precarious. A very sturdy and roomy dish drainer.
If you're on the fence, I'd really reccomend this purchase.
Customer Review: Handled My Return Well

After all the wonderful reviews, I thought I couldn't go wrong, but my wife just didn't like it. Fortunately, Zojila handled my return very well. We bought a chrome Kitchenaide rack from Target one year ago and it had begun to rust. I searched for the best stainless rack and found this one. Personally I thought it was well made and had better aesthetics than other dish racks, but my wife objected for practical reasons. She prefers to stack dishes, pots and pans horizontally rather than vertically and this rack's size and capacity, especially with her stacking style and with pots and pans just didn't meet her expectations. Now we're using a Simple Human stainless rack that is more like a big basket with the Kitchenaide mat underneath and both clip-on utensil holders. Aesthetically it's a nightmare, but what can I say? My wife is happy. 5 Stars to Zojila for taking it back without hassle, and although she was certain this was not what she wanted, I do not see any reason to mark it down for those for whom it is their desire.
