Tools and Hardware Reviews of Zojila 'Rohan' Dish Rack Drainer Utensil holder and Drain board, Stainless Steel Self DrainingCustomer Review: If you need a dish rack, this is it. Summary: 5 Stars
OK- so a dish rack is no big deal, right? You wash a few things and stick them on a towel, or in a rubber rack on the counter... job done. So, why do all of the reviews rave about this rack? I figured I'd find out, and if I didn't agree, I'd return it. Well I agree. This rack has organized what used to be a frequent clutter in our all-too-small kitchen. This thing takes bowls, dishes, utensils, pots, pans... all at once! I think, honestly, I enjoy washing dishes and stacking them in this thing over sticking them in the dish washer to "age" until it's full enough to run (Just my wife and I, so it takes a while to load that thing up). We've probably cut our dishwasher use in 1/3 after getting this rack. And, it drains fast, is easy to clean, and fits so nicely next to the sink that it simply belongs there. Well worth the price, I'm sure this rack will last many years, and look just as good in the kitchen after we remodel later this year. In fact, I think this rack is the first step of our remodel! Next, the sledge hammer.
Customer Review: Functional, Stylish and Sturdy Summary: 5 Stars
This looks good on the counter and the self draining works. It easily dismantles into two pieces and fits under the sink so I don't have to surrendur precious counter space.
It also passed the most rigorous durability test available, my three year old. During one of those classic moments when I had to get the telephone and was distracted and my toddler decided it was a good idea to take the pots and the dish drainer and bang them together. He was not able to demolish it and I got there quick enough that there were no dents.
While I can't say this test was as comprehensive as consumer reports after living with a toddler I have learned to value products that withstand our real life durability testing. I speak from experience my cell phone did not survive being tossed that in the open washing machine while I was loading it with laundry so when I have a product that survives the escapades of my favorite little guy I take notice.
Great product well worth it.
Customer Review: Very happy with this rack! Summary: 5 Stars
After reading the reviews, I took the plunge. I was tired of the ugly, plastic dish rack we've had for years. We leave the rack out all the time, so it needed to look good. I wanted a metal one, but not something that would rust in a year. This one seemed to fit the bill!
I've had it a month and love it. We handwash most of our pots & larger pieces. Only plates, bowls, eating utensils & glasses go into the dish washer. This rack easily handles the heavier items and lots of stuff! I was pleasantly surprised to see how many things it can hold.
I've had no problems with the drainage, the water rolls off into the sink as it should. I do wish it had a spout like the Simply Human line. That way, I wouldn't have to keep at close to the sink.
The first domino has fallen! Now that I've got this pretty item on the counter top, I'm getting the itch to update other things in my kitchen...
Customer Review: Dish rack, mon amour Summary: 5 Stars
A guest inquired about my dish rack while visiting the other day. He seemed impressed by the array of heavy pots, pans, and miscellany that I had confidently piled in layers on the rack.
"How do you like that thing? We're so sick of buying junk, and that looks really sturdy - and nice. And it actually drains into the sink!"
"I LOVE it," was my unguarded response.
Can one truly love a dish rack? Yes, easily - when it does its job well, doesn't make a mess of itself or its surroundings, and looks good to boot.
After learning to literally hate countless messy, tippy, rusty, rotting, slimy dish racks over the course of 35 years, I splurged and bought one of these. After four years of use (bought in 2006), it is obvious that I'll never need or want to buy a replacement - unless someone steals it.
Customer Review: Best dish rack ever! We love it! Summary: 5 Stars
This stainless steel dish rack and drain board are the best that we've ever seen. The price is high, but well worth it for the quality that you'll receive. We are very happy with it. I was a bit concerned at first that my pots and pans wouldn't stay in it due to the open design. I was worried for nothing. This rack holds everything and anything with style. It has enough weight to the rack, that it holds trays upright to save space without tipping. The drain board is high enough that it fits over the lip of our Kohler sink with high rim. The board easily wipes clean. One suggested improvement to manufacturer - add glassware hooks somewhere around outside edge of rack to fit glasses and sippy cups over to dry. We highly recommend this dish rack if you're tired of replacing cheap plastic or rubber designs.
