I just purchased the badger plus earth auger .
My intent was to put in some fence posts . The
machine lasted about ten minutes before
the throttle cable snapped loose . I was
going to re-attach the part myself but the
connection involved disassembly of part of
the engine . I called tecumseh and got two
service dealers in my area . One said that
they would not work on it , and the other said that they only work on the engine and will
not repair cables . The tecumseh number is strictly automated and there is not a live person to speak to . I guess I'll have to try to repair it myself . It looks like generally
the design is good , but if something goes wrong you are definitely on your own .
