Third Hand Base For Soldering Jewelry. This is a new third hand base with magnifier. It can be used as a practical helper for soldering jewelry, electronics and model making. This features adjustable joints for versatile movement in all directions. This comes with a 2 1/2" (62 mm) 3X magnifying glass. It has a heavy cast iron base for added stability. It measures approximately 10 1/2" x 7 3/4" x 2 1/8" (266 x 196 x 53 mm). We work hard to update our descriptions and pictures of our merchandise. Summary: 4 Stars
Some assembly is required, but there are no directions. You have to figure it out from the pictures and looking at the pieces you have. But it's mostly assembled. Also, it was a bit "tippy" until I figued out to put the second to last "arm" on the glass forward and the last arm heading to the back. (This puts more weight to the front.)
