Product itself is very inexpensive and works great. Feels solid and built solid.
I bought this with the intention of testing to see if I can use it as a video light. My digital camera can take good videos (Canon S2 IS), but no video light. My camcorder doesn't have a video light either. I was looking for an inexpensive video light, but they all come with many negative reviews.
So, I found this flashlight. It looked small, light, and inexpensive. I thought I just give it a try.
It worked out well. The light produce is little and can only light up a small area at a close distance. Yes, I have to hold it with one hand. Not very convenient, but works. I am satisfied.

I was a little worried when I clicked to order this flashlight. When other flashlights were costing nearly 10X what this one costs I knew I was going to regret my order.
I COULD NOT HAVE BEEN MORE WRONG!
These flashlights are UNBELIEVABLE. They are INCREDIBLY BRIGHT. DO NOT point them near your eyes!!!!!
At the cost I picked up 3 of these, even with all three they still cost 1/10 the cost of a top end brand. I put it up next to a friend who purchased a $75 version of the same kind but top end flashlight and not only was mine brighter, but it was lighter in weight as well.
Why purchase something that costs 10X more when these work PERFECT. THANKS!!

As buyers before me have mentioned, the price is cheap; the quality is anything but cheap.
Old light blub flashlights give dim and yucky yellow light. They also drain batteries quickly - or use large, bulky one. With white LEDs, all these problems are solved: they inherently produce white light (although a bit on the bluish side), and they draw much less power. Therefore it becomes possible to have long-lasting yet high-powered flashlights using only AAA batteries!
So I bought a bunch of these to replace my old flashlights and as gifts for friends. The light output is fantastic, and the metal casing is solid and very professional-looking.
You will not be disappointed. This may be the best flashlight you'll ever see.

The LED's used for these are noticeably brighter than similar products I've bought at hardware stores, etc.
They're also pretty durable considering how cheaply they are made. But if you let one get damp, the batteries will corrode and that will in turn corrode the flashlight's internals..
So when it gets wet, dissemble it and dry it out. It's not rocket science, it's called "taking care of your stuff". Or chuck it (properly disposing of the batteries) and buy another one.
I was laughing at all the comments from people unable to use/repair/maintain their cheap (but very bright) little flashlights. Then I thought about how these people are also using computers with Internet connections, and I got depressed.

I come from a family that camps, hikes, boats, etc. In any given room of my parents house you will find between 4-5 flashlights. These little flashlights are great! I bought a 3 pack of them for about 2-3 years now and they are still going strong. They have been in the bottom of rivers and pools, dropped down stairs, etc and still work amazing. I live in Chicago now and they work amazingly at filling a room with light when the power goes down.
As far as the fading and flickering, there is an easy solution, take out the battery pack and use a pair of tweezers to pull up on the spring at the bottom, it makes a tighter connection and since doing so, I have never had any more problems.
