I was looking for basic LED backup flashlights (car, headboard, toolbench, ...) and found this. geoffbeneze's review caught my eye. Bought one (arrived this week) and I decided to do the mod on the positive contact. Used a padded socket wrench socket that just fit the barrel and a rubber mallet to drive the circuit board with LEDs and reflector out the front. Soldered a small coil of copper wire on the contact button. Back in business. I did have to file off some excess solder to get down to the copper, but that took about a minute. I expect it to go for a long time with no electrical contact issues, and it's a nice little lite. Buying a few more as I type this.Customer Review: Crazy value

I've paid a lot more for a lot less when it comes to LED flashlights.
This one is the brightest I've ever owned. You can walk around your yard with it. Plenty of light.
Small enough to be kept in a bag, in the car... I keep one with my remotes in the living room.
It feels solid in your hand, not cheap. I've only had it for a few weeks, and couldn't be happier with it.
The issue with having to smack the LED flashlight in your hand is one I have run into with other LED flashlights, seems like a common problem with them. Mine (I bought a bunch of these little guys) are all working as they should.

Do yourself a favor and just buy the dang thing. I went on a 2 month backpacking trip and, believe you me, I used this flashlight many a times while running through the woods/prairie/rocks to do my business. Definitely not the most powerful light out there, but I wasn't really looking for a floodlight. I wanted a dependable, durable, easy-to-carry, small flashlight with a bright-enough light and this did the job. I know other customers had problems with the build, but my flashlight never failed on me and I didn't even have to use the back-up batteries I took with me. Amazing? - nope, it is a flashlight after all. Good enough? - yup.Customer Review: EXCELLENT PRODUCT!

I bought 4 of these 21 LED lights expecting to be at least a little disappointed in some way but I was mistaken! These flashlights work GREAT! They flood the area with very white light and not just inside the house. This is a flood light and as such performs very well. I took one outside and was very suprised to see that it provided a great deal of bright light across a broad area of my back yard. The lights are very sturdy and fit just right in your hand. The 3 cheap batteries that came with the unit don't last long but copper tops and energizers last much better. Buy them you won't be disappointed!Customer Review: Great product

This product is super bright. In contrary to most reviews of the seller I read my shipping was slow. I call slow waiting 3 weeks from order to having the product in hand. I ordered 6-7 items a week after and every one of them arrived faster. Maybe My particular order was just an anomoly. Either way The product is great. Personally I do not believe 3 weeks is a resonable amount of time to wait and my experience doing so would keep me from buying from this seller again. I wish better for all of you as this seller has obviousely not had a hisory of slow shipping.
