After buying and receiving the first one, I immediately bought two more in different colors. My wife and son kept taking mine. I keep one in the car and it works whenever I need it, even in the cold of Colorado. It is well-constructed and extremely bright for its size. I was concerned because some had commented about poor quality or bad contacts. Nothing could be further from the truth. It is solid and reliable and even comes with batteries. You can't beat it for the price. I will probably buy a couple more for all of our vehicles and around the house.Customer Review: Great flashlight for low use

You can not go wrong with buying this flashlight for 5 [...]. The package comes with batteries!!! I bought a couple and threw them in the glove box of each of the cars in our household.
The flashlight is very bright and I hope the battery consumption is pretty good.
Yes, the flashlight does "act up" sometimes. The one I use for work I have to sometimes mess around with the switch.
The packaging mentions that the product contains lead. Take that information as you want.

This is a great little flashlight. The LEDs are extremely bright and provide good illumination over at least 30 feet. As with other LED flashlights, you cannot adjust the focal distance, so you cannot produce a bright spot or flood, but the illumination provided by the LEDs is sufficient for most tasks.
Regarding durability, the flashlight feels light but solid in my hand, and I have had no problems with flickering or faulty contacts. (Note: I have not put this flashlight through heavy-duty use).

For $3.99 this is a no-brainer. It's REALLY bright for the size. I like to grill and when it's not in my car's center console I keep it by the grill to help check meat since the porchlight isn't bright enough.
Solidly built, super-affordable, and works as designed. If you're in the market I don't see why you'd spend more unless you need a much larger one. I'll probably pick up another soon so I have one for the car and one for the house.

I actually bought this item as a filler but if I had known how bright and long lasting it would turn out to be I'd have purchased a few and give them out as gifts. Intensely bright and even beam and the battery drain is very low. This flashlight will lasts for a weeks if left turned on. It makes for a great emergency light in your glovebox of tackle box. Rugged and attractive aluminum shell with a on/off switch on the endcap. Well worth the money.
