Customer Review: Wonderful device for scrubbing my tiles

This robot is simple to use (not quite as simple as the Roomba) it requires TWO button presses to work.
Our tile floors are a drag to clean but this beautiful little device does an excellent job of scrubbing them.
To operate you fill with clean water and some cleaning fluid then place on the floor and press two buttons. Don't plan on watching it for too long as its not very fast but it does a great job and knows when its covered the designated area. Empty the dirty water tank at the end and you might be surprised how much dirt was on the floor.
I have to spend a little time arranging the furniture so it can move around.
Set it to clean your kitchen/dining area before you go to bed and wake up to clean floors!
I also own a Roomba and between the two of them, they do enough of the everyday cleaning that I decided I didn't need to employ a cleaner any more. The gadgets paid for themselves in a couple of months.

This was a gift, as my past experiences with the Roomba were underwhelming. But as my kitchen and dining room are tiled, and the task of scrubbing, rinsing and drying the floor was a 3-hour event, I was desperate to find another solution. Scooba did a great job of cleaning the tiles as well as the grout. The floor looked like new, when layers of years-old dirt were lifted. The virtual wall comes in very handy. The unit is so well made, with every removable part labeled and so easy to clean. I just tried it on the hardwood bamboo floors in the bedroom and limestone in the bathroom, with equally fabulous results. In fact, while I'm writing this and doing laundry, the Scooba is cleaning the floors. I urge anyone with hard floor surfaces to buy this, though shop around as it is available many places for far less than the price listed here - either way you will wonder how you lived without it, something I say about VERY FEW cleaning gimmicks.Customer Review: Worth every penny

Fantastic!!!! I couldn't believe how well this worked. Since it does not reuse dirty mop water the floors were super clean! The first pass I hate to admit the water was black. For the first three days, when the battery was recharged I would run it again and again. My house is all hardwood, and tile so this was money well spent. I would think this would be a must have for any parent with a crawling baby or kids that play on the floor. Just thinking about it I should go run it now. It is very easy to use and clean up is much easier than you would think.
I am familiar with the roomba. I own and love a 500 series and a dirt devil( purchased on amazon.com for $30 cheaper than the manufacturers web site plus free shipping).
After the initial charge of over 16 hours( which helps lengthen the battery life and improves performance) I was off and running. If you hate to mop, you'll love it now using the scooba.

I had Brazilian hardwood installed in the downstairs of my home--about 1,000 SF--but I had no desire to mop it myself. Fortunately, I found Scooba. It's a great little machine, but you definitely have to learn how to use it.
Once you figure it out (harder than using a bandaid, easier than brain surgery), it's fantastic. I have a cat that sheds all over the house, and Scooba picks up every hair I don't get first. This means I have to deep clean Scooba's brush and various orifices on a regular basis. But that's fine wih me. (NOTE: It might be a good idea to also buy a Roomba, so you can use it to vacuum your house first, THEN the Scooba.)
Love this machine. And because my floors are always spotless, it means I don't track any dust from my floors onto the carpet upstairs. The high-end Scooba is the best investment--runs a long time (two 45-minute cycles per charge), and it's well built.

This little robot amazed me. It gets my floors very clean every time, and doesn't leave streaks. You only need to add a small amount of liquid cleaner or vinegar to the scooba and fill it with warm water. Then go read a book while it washes your floor. After its done, maintaining it is easy. Empty the dirty water, rinse the little filter and brushes and return it to charge for the next time. There are a few downsides. It can get stuck under low cabinet lips (i just stick a broom handle under mine to keep it out). I find it is really only able to clean one room at a time before needing charging. The scooba came with a small crack in the tank, but irobot replaced it within a few days, their customer service department is great. I've dealt with them before concerning a roomba that I own, and they are very responsive and I've never been disappointed. This is one luxury I would not want to live without!
