When my original iRobot battery finally wore out, I looked around for a replacement. I was pleased to find that Amazon had the correct replacement battery available, and for a very competitive price.
When the battery arrived, I immediately noticed that it appeared to be exactly the same as the Roomba's original battery. Replacing the battery was quick and easy to do and, before I knew it, the battery was fully charged and my Roomba was back in action once again. What a relief!

My battery in my original roomba had died - it would not charge any more. I was actually going to buy a new roomba when I saw this battery replacement instead. It is much heavier and denser than the original battery so I am looking for long life out of this battery. I charged it overnight when I first got it. So far it lasts long enough for the roomba to go through the longest cycle for a large room. I recommend the APS (Advanced Power System) battery - I think it will give the best life.Customer Review: SUCH A DEAL!

iRobot 4905 Battery
Ordered a replacement battery for our Roomba robotic floor cleaner and was advised, by the manufacturer, that they are "on back order." Did a little surfin and low-and-behold, I found a vendor offering the same battery FOR LESS $$$. Placed the order and the battery arrived very promptly. Boy, I'm glad the manufacturer was out of stock on this item.

This is the first replacement I had to purchase for my Roomba Discovery. I have had the Roomba since Christmas 2006 which was a good two years of running the Roomba 5-6 days a week. I recently acquired (2) Dogs, Rott & Lab so the Roomba has been working over time picking up the hair before the battery life started to wane. I did try re setting and that gave me some shelf life, but alas it was time for a new battery- well worth the money!Customer Review: Never worked better!

This battery works so much better than the one that came with my Roomba, even though they are both "Advanced Power System". It will now run for more than 2 hours, whereas before, the best it could do was maybe 45 minutes, even when it was new. I would definitely recommend this to you if your Roomba is running out of "energy" too soon. The price was also MUCH better than the local battery store. Wanda
