I priced these batteries on Irobot - too expensive. So I bought this one thru Amazon for 1/2 the price. My Roomba, which is fabulous, now runs for over an hour per charge. I am sooo pleased with this battery. I first ordered the wrong (my fault) one and then ordered the correct one. This one charged overnight & now I have my little "Robbie Robot" doing my hard wood floors all by itself. All the little kitty hairs all picked up. Thanks a million!!!

Don't make the mistake I made and buy some off brand battery (that cost about $15 less). I did this and the odd brand wouldn't run my Roomba for more than a half hour. The factory battery runs well over twice that time. ONLY buy the factory battery that has the iRobot logo on the top.Customer Review: Yep, it's a battery

The iRobot 4905 Battery looks exactly like the one I took out of my Roomba after 3 years. Charged it up and my Roomba cleaned the living room with power to spare, just like it did when I bought it. The new battery pack fit perfectly. I charged it and turned loose the iRobot which then ran around for over an hour sweeping the carpets. The old battery had reached the point where the iRobot would only run 5 minutes before dying. We'll definitely keep it around now.
