After the birth of my second child I relayed my husband a chore... Vacuuming.
He went to a local store that was going out of business and purchased this on sale. I was skeptical at first and put it off for years. I really wish I hadn't because its become a lifesaver!
I live in the mountains and have lots of dirt and even gravel drug in so I'm constantly cleaning up. It saves me lots of time and its proven to be sturdy. It picks up leaves and stones and practically chases around my 5 year old. You'll still have to drag out the stand up vacuum time and again because it wont get in every crevice and edge. Overall it does a very good job!

The rumba is a great little device; the only thing that people should be aware of is the fact that it takes about 5 times as long as it would take a normal person to clean 1 room. As long as you are patient and don't try and wait for one speck of dust on the floor to be sucked up by roomba (this will drive you nuts) you will be a roomba lover as well. An added benefit is that it will really vacuum under things that you wouldn't bother to like beds and small tables. On average I would say that roomba vacuums about as well as the average person. Worth the money if you aren't a fan of housework.Customer Review: I LOVE IT!

I LOVE this little robot! It works well above my expectations! I have been nothing but impressed with what a good job it does. I loved it so much that I purchased one for my Brother, my Dad, and my future in-laws. Having the home base is a great idea! I find it humorous that when it backs out of the home base it beeps just like a forklift or a truck. When it's done, it parks it's self back in the base to charge and plays a victory tune! I named my first one Rosie after the maid on the Jetsons! I just purchased another one so I can have one upstairs and one downstairs!Customer Review: Best Helper!

I love my Roomba so much. I bought another one. This is perfect for hard floors! Set it and go. All you have to do is make sure it's charged and the dust bin/filter emptied.
I let them both run in separate areas of the house. This keeps the house dust bunny free until I deep clean. It's well worth the money. My kids love it, too. I don't have to ask them to vacuum!

When I bought the Roomba, I thought I was buying a new gadget that happens to clean. That was until I set it to work. The carpet that I thought was decently clean... until I emptied the bin, boy was I wrong. The little machine has incredible cleaning power. I am impressed.
