This Roomba is great for those of you who have dogs and don't have the time to be sweeping its hair every day. Seriously, who has the time to sweep every day? All you have to do is just turn it on before you go to work and let it do its thing. When you clean the tray out, you'll find that it probably picked up more dirt/hair than you would have on your own with a broom. You will find yourself having to clean the brushes out on a regular basis since hair can get stuck in there pretty easily. It's a con (-1 star), but I deal with it. And I just figured this out today, but you can actually take out the front wheel and easily clean that thing out as well. I didn't know that that was possible (maybe I should read the instruction manual) but after cleaning out the front wheel, it increased the battery operation time significantly! I was about ready to blame the shoddy battery for the reduced battery life, but cleaning it thoroughly does help. It's great for getting under your couches and bed by the way. I honestly feel a little cleaner after buying this Roomba and using it on a regular basis.Customer Review: Saves my office money

With the economy on the skids, I had to find a way to cut costs at the office. We let our janitorial staff go and started cleaning the office ourselves. Thanks to the Roomba vacuum cleaner, we can attend to our jobs while the little robot takes care of vacuuming.
We plan on getting an iRobot Scooba soon for the tile floor in the office. And we're saving thousands of dollars a year compared to paying a janitorial crew.

This is my 2nd roomba. I decided to buy this version instead of the past one I had ($350). I did not require the "room blockers" or infared device. This works great for pets, I run this 5x a week for my 1000+ sq foot apartment and it picks up the sand, small hair, etc.
Just keep filter clean and check the under belt for any strings that might jam.
Good product for the price.

I was somewhat disapponted. This is the second rhoomba I have owned. I thought I was purchasing the same one I had before. This one did not come with a docking station. I paid the same price for this one and it lacked the station. I found I could order one for an additional $70. Since I was ordering the same model number I assumed I was getting the same thing.Customer Review: Great on hardwood floors

We have 2160 square feet of tile and hardwood in our house. The roomba is a self made sweeper. It has taken over the daily task of sweeping. It's not a miracle worker but it definitely gives you a couple more days between deep cleaning and mopping.
