Description of iTouchless Fully Automatic Black Color Touchless Trashcan SX, 13 Gallon (52 Liter)
This new 52 Liter black color Touchless Trashcan SX model uses the latest sensor technology and patented space saving lid opening design. As your hand or debris enter the zone 6 inches from the infrared sensor on top of the trash can, the lid will automatically slide open. No up or down lid motion means more capacity in less space. The lid will remain open if debris or hand is within the 6 inch range of the infrared sensor. 3 seconds after your hand moves away from the lid it closes automatically. At top front of the lid there are open and close buttons for manual operation, and there is a on/off power switch on the back of the trash can. This 3rd generation automatic trash can is the only trash can with the automatic space saving design. Fits any regular 13 or 18 gallon trash bag. Comes with bag retainer ring to secure and hide the trash bag inside the trash can. Optional AC power adaptor is available. No need to touch the lid or pedal of this trash can. Sensor is at the right place to open the lid automatically when you are approaching to throw trash. No false opening. The black color hides fingerprints and dirts. Thick steel construction looks like it can last for a long time. Large opening can fit a medium pizza box.
It comes with a plastic retainer ring that secures and hides the trash bag inside the trashcan. It is easy to change bags with the retainer ring. I'm using 18 gallon trash bag I got from Costco it fits perfectly. I also purchased the AC adaptor which saves me lots of battery costs. Every family should have one of this. This is the second one I own. I gave my first round stainless steel one to my parents.
