Tools and Hardware Reviews of iTouchless Fully Automatic Stainless Steel Touchless Trashcan SX, 13 Gallon (52 Liter)

Customer Review: touchless trash can
Summary: 5 Stars

I absolutely love this. After ready the reviews (didn't read until I had ordered) I was glad I hadn't read them. This is everything and more. I find it so convenient, sanitary, and easy to use.

Customer Review: Great product
Summary: 5 Stars

This will be our second touchless trash can,I dropped the first one and smashed the on/off switch. For a sanitary way of dealing with trash this is the best one we have encountered. Chau

Customer Review: Great trash can
Summary: 5 Stars

Very good quality. Works well and keeps trash smell contained to the can so no smell is in the house.

Customer Review: Just Wondering...
Summary: 5 Stars

If you can't touch it--how do you empty it? At least you can use an AC adapter.

Customer Review: Poor Packaging /Great Product
Summary: 4 Stars

After many years of searching for the "perfect" one, I love using this trashcan. The noise doesn't bother me, the 13 gal. Glad Forceflex bags I like to use work fine, even though they are a little short for it. (The ring still holds them in place.) The on/off switch and manual buttons are very easy to use, when needed. It holds A LOT - but overstuffing will make it hard to empty (like any trashcan.)

CONS: Be prepared to spend time getting it ready to use. It is a real pain, but the huge sticker right on the front can be removed, by patient scraping with a rubber scraper, followed by a scrubbing with "Bartender's Friend". Even worse, the "slats" on the top of mine were not attached to each other at all. So, the sliding mechanism worked fine, but the hole remained open! It wasn't too difficult to figure out that I needed to carefully slide each one under the next, until the tiny bumps "caught." There were no directions about needing to do this, however, and it was obviously due to shifting during handling.

Overall, I'm very happy with the product, and would definitely buy it again - plus will probably invest in the AC adaptor.
