I use this for my bedroom and it's great to not having to touch the trash can. It works as advertised, about 5 inches away from the sensor.
The only thing is that you have to remove the top (which pops off easily) to access the plastic bucket and pull out. I actually use plastic bags (target store bag) inside and just pull it out when I need to empty it.
10 inches tall, 9 inches diameter. Keeps odors inside pretty well. Highly recommended!

Got this to put beside my computer desks. To keep the little dogs out of the trash cans works great the first time he tried to tip it over the lid pops up and he never tried again.
They are very nice looking also

This product works much like the other iTouchless systems. Keeps everything sanitary and for this size, works especially great in the bathroom where it is for me. One disappointment was the lack of the invaluable ring which holds the bags in place in the larger iTouchless garbage cans. This keeps the bag from slipping off and takes away the cumbersome task of having to keep the bag secured (hopefully!) by hoping there's just enough space between the outer can and the inner container to hold it in place. The ring was a simple yet effective solution which this model does not have.
