This is a great shower mat and it goes over the drain very nicely without a big hole in the mat so you don't have to always re-position it ever. The natural design of the mat has openings that drain the water very well. It is very comfortable to stand on and looks good too. Someone had written that it hurt her feet to stand on it - she must have very tender feet because it is very comfortable for me - no problem whatsoever. I do recommend this mat and the only regret that I have is that I bought one for a square shower and ours shower is rectangular - should have gotten a bigger one but it still works and keeps us from slipping.
