Customer Review: Looking all over for a can that'd fit a certain spot

I have a spot in my desk that used to house a CPU before I got a Mac. The Mac doesn't fit, so I have had a useless hole in my desk for forever. I got tired of kicking over the regular trash can, so I decided to find something that would fit that spot. The simplehuman can fits well and looks good. I only use it for paper, but if I wanted a liner, commercial liners will fit it. Have had simplehuman cans in my bathroom for four years and they are very nice. THey hold up well and I'm impressed with the company's quality and engineering!

I've always liked using supermarket bags for recycling and garbage, and this is the perfect bin for doing so. Size is just right to get bags full, but not too full to tie closed. Inside is smooth, so removing packed bags is easy. Handles hold bags in place just right - bag space isn't wasted, and bag edges don't fall inside bin. Bin is well-constructed - seems solid and unlikely to break, and has maintained shape and appearance with daily use over several months. Bottom is plastic, so leaks would be contained and easily cleaned up.Customer Review: Never Thought I'd Love a Trashcan!

Never thought I'd be so happy with a trashcan, (especially one that costs this much!), but this was actually my second purchase of the same one, since I like the first one so much. It fits perfectly in the slim space between my nightstand and bed and doesn't look too cheap to have out in our bedroom. The second one is in the bathroom and fits great between the toilet and the wall. The design is genius--it perfectly fits a plastic grocery bag and holds it open. Also, it is lined with plastic inside so it is easy to clean.Customer Review: who knew a trash can could add to a room?

My wife and I recently remodeled the bathroom, and wanted to upgrade the accessories. This little trash not only fit in with the decor (fixtures, cabinets, etc), but it also fit into a snug space. The references others have made to the handles on the side are right on. If we use the clear plastic grocery bags, we can't even tell there's a trash bag in the container. Plastic grocery bags fit perfectly in this thing, and are held tightly by the handles, so that they don't collapse in on themselves when you throw something in. The can is very small (grocery bag size obviously) so don't plan on using it as your main kitchen garbage unless you want to empty it every day. It does look quite nice, so having it in the open in a bathroom or by a desk would be fine.
