We bought this to replace one that was terrible. We couldn't take the bag out without it ripping. When this can arrived I was elated! The bags fit in snug around the top but don't tear when you take it out. The lid closes slowly which is nice. Yes, it's plastic and it doesn't have a liner, but it is probably the best trash can for my tiny kitchen. I also love the wide opening which allows you to dump dishes with ease & no spillage. Best of all, in my opinion, it uses a standard size trash bag which securely stretches around the top.Customer Review: A great buy!

I love this product! It's quiet and contains smell. It will not tilt forward if you put all of your body weight on your heel on the ground and apply light pressure on the lever with your toes. The size is not too big, not too small, ideal for a small office kitchen, where you don't want to expose your food trash. Use 13-gallons bag, perfect. convenient. Use your foot to press it to open. The quality is pretty good, made in Taiwan. I recommend it to everyone.
